PIAA Track and Field Championships
2011
This essay follows a week of covering the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association's 2010-2011 Track and Field Championships at Shippensburg University, in Shippensburg Pennsylvania. A grueling year of training for students brings them to the pinnacle of their abilities, the state's championship. In a visual format, the assignment brought with it colors, moments and many fleeting scenes of intensity and loss. This is what I saw, on and off the track.
