Photography > Bodhi House (a photo essay)

Created by local Buddhist John Mulligan to serve as housing for recently paroled prisoners who participated in Mulligan's Triple Gem Sanghas, a non-profit that teaches the practice of Buddhism to inmates inside the prison systems of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mulligan began operating his farmstead in Adams County as a halfway home for parolees who maintained an interest in Buddhist practice. Designed to help them transition into jobs and eventually homes, Bodhi House is a gift to those struggling to adapt to life outside prison.
