Mulligan and Correa begin their day meditating on March 18, 2015 inside the study at Bodhi House. Correa, who has conducted six tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan before spending four years at South Woods State Prison in New Jersey on an illegal firearms charge. Correa, a U.S Marine Corps scout sniper, discovered Buddhism when he met Mulligan during the Triple Gem Shanga lessons at South Woods State Prison.
